Tunisia OOTN #2

top - primark
shorts - zara
sandals - primark

can you tell I lay on my back all day and never my front? its safe to say my tan is far from even!! I always have the same problem when I come home from a holiday because I absolutely hate lying on my front.

anyway, here's outfit numero 2 from Tunisia. The whole focus point of the outfit is the paisley printed shorts that I picked up in a zara store in London. The pink mixed with all the bright colours really caught my eye so I wanted this to stand out, thats why I've chosen a plain (ish) top to pair with them. They are super duper comfy too so I'd definitely recommend (although I'm sure they're out of stock now). The top I'm wearing here was a bit of a throw on because I didn't prepare myself and packed my case about 45 minutes before I left my house - oooops!

I've been thinking that it's about time I had my blog redesigned, I'm not the biggest fan of my current design but I have absolutely NO IDEA how to go about redesigning myself. If anyone knows of anyone who offers blog redesigns at an affordable price please let me know :)

Tunisia OOTN #1

lace crochet shorts - internacionale
kimono - nasty gal
cami - topshop
sandals - primark

hey pretties! I've arrived back home after a scorchinggg week in Tunisia, It was my third holiday of the summer so I've been a damn lucky girl this year. I managed to snap a few photos of some of my outfits but I'll warn you now these aren't too exciting - it was a completely chilled holiday so I didn't really bother getting dressed up and forgot half my hair/makeup products and all of my jewellery!

Firstly, my new crochet style shorts.. I was walking past Internacionale and these shorts caught my eye in the window display - I've been lusting after a pair of crochet shorts all summer and although I never really shop in Internacionale these ones fit the bill perfectly! Teamed here with my simple topshop cami and my current favourite lace kimono that I picked up with some store credit that I had on Nasty Gal. Its hardly a secret that kimonos are a big thing at the moment but I am SO happy that they are - my collection is growing by the day.

topshop wishlist

topshop wishlist

Is anyone else lusting after just about every single thing in Topshop right now?! I can't get enough of it! I'm behaving this week because I jet off to Tunisia on Sunday so I'm trying to save all my pennies - but as soon as I touch back down in Scotland I'm heading straight to Topshop.

Firstly, I've turned into a denim addict this summer, I never used to bother with jeans etc but now I'm constantly in my jonis, denim dresses and denim cut off shorts so I think its about time I invested in denim dungarees. I'd wear these with cropped t-shirts and one of my many pairs of sneaks. I also love this denim midi and I think it would go well with so many of my bright printed tops.

I'm a big fan of all things bright for summer, so this green swimsuit, pink dress and beaded jacket caught my eye in no time. Like I said, I jet off on Sunday so I probably won't get a chance to purchase this green swimsuit for this holiday but I wish I'd spotted it earlier for my past trip to Ibiza! I love the pleat detail and the halter tie. I can't even put into words how obsessed I am with this bright beaded jacket but at £150 its well out of my price range :(! I'd wear it all day every day and everyone would be sick of the sight of it! I especially like this pink slip dress because of the back detailing - I'm a big fan of the colour pink so I definitely think I'll be making this purchase.

A sleeveless blazer has been on my wishlist for a while now, I can't decide whether I'd prefer a black or white one, but I think I'd get the most wear out of black which is why I want to get my hands on this zip up version. I'd team it with skinnies, strappy sandals and some bling.  I might even find a way to rock it with these cool tartan denims which I'm surprised have caught my eye..

I have always been a leopard print fan and I think this leopard print structured tee would be an awesome addition to the wardrobe all year round. Needless to say this top would go perfectly with these open toe 'aline' boots that I NEED. I love love love topshop shoes and these are beautiful, plus they look easy to walk in! I'd make an outfit out of this by popping on a pair of cats eye sunglasses that I still need to get my hands on.

I've gotta apologise for my lack of blogging recently, I spend 99% of my time in my work uniform and being a lifeguard it isn't the most fashionable of outfits! I'm going to try and do more of these type of posts that don't actually require me to get dressed! Anyway, hopefully I'll get a chance to pop an outfit on before I head off on holiday... :)

jump around

jumpsuit - topshop
stud belt - river island
statement necklace - topshop
black skull bangle - river island
watch - michael kors
shoes - primark

today my big bro graduated from university - so I had the perfect excuse to go out and buy a new outfit (thanks craig!). firstly, I'd like to say these photos are taken after being fast asleep in the car therefore I do look a bit like shit.. sorrryyyy.

I picked up this jumpsuit this morning after spilling ketchup on my dress, oops, hah!.. I've decided I love jumpsuits and everything about them so you can expect many more appearing on the blog. this one is obviously the best colour in the world though.. (there I go again obsessing over cobalt blue) and its a perfect fit for me too. If I'd been prepared to wear this I'd have found myself a thinner belt but other than that I'm kinda happy the ketchup accident happened.. a new outfit is always a good thing!

The day actually ended with me spilling rose wine all over this outfit too.. I shouldn't be allowed out the house!

mono-play

playsuit - missguided
sandals - primark
belt - primark
necklace - new look

okay, so I've found the time to squeeze in one last post before I head off tomorrow! I bought this floral playsuit for my last holiday but I never got the chance to get a photo of it. I'm not really a fan of playsuits just because they usually aren't long enough for my body and nobody wants a constant 'wedgie' type situation (sorry, its true!). I ordered this in a size too big so that it had a bit more room and I was chuffed to bits when it arrived and it fit perfectly! I'm all over the monochrome trend so this playsuit ticks all the boxes for me. I'm also wearing my primark sandals that I like so much that I went back and bought them in tan and white too - theres no such thing as too many shoes!
