seaside

smock dress - boohoo
boots - topshop
fedora - missguided
necklace - matalan
watch - michael kors

hey hey! sorry about the mish mash of photos, it was pouring with rain as I left the house so I had to take some indoor posts, but then later on down the beach the sun was (kinda) out so I snapped a couple more :). I don't like taking photos inside because I'm crap with lighting and finding a decent spot to take pictures in my house is impossible, which is yet another reason I hate winter and the rainy days and dark nights.

anyway, moving on from my moaning! I've been after a smock dress for a while now but they were all far too short for me, so when I spotted this over sized one from Boohoo for just £15 I was chuffed to pieces. I always always always go back to this deep red burgundy colour when it comes round to A/W so hopefully I'll make good use of this dress. It was luckily warm enough to bare the legs this week but I'm sure thats soon gonna be a no go! I've teamed the dress with my new fedora from Missguided which caught my eye because of the chain detailing which I love. My hat collection is slowly growing, just in time for winter.

sleeveless

sleeveless blazer - asos
cami - topshop
jeans - asos
boots - topshop
necklace - primark
watch - michael kors

I can safely say that I NEVER wear white jeans, so this is a strange outfit for me! I find myself buying them year after year but then they just get forgotten about. I love the idea of white jeans yet I can never find a way to make them work for me. The other day I teamed them with this grey sleeveless biker jacket/blazer type thing that I picked up in the ASOS sale, I can imagine its gonna be making a lot of appearances in my day to day wardrobe because its so easy to throw on with anything. I added my black cami and black boots to make it an all over colourless outfit, which I kinda like for a change.

I'm loving the whole sleeveless look and I've since bought myself two more blazers.. I hope the weather stays alright for the next wee while so I don't have to cover them up with coats and jackets and scarves.. but who am I kidding, I think Summer is definitely soon to be over, boooo!

I hate every one.

tshirt - topshop
skirt - topshop
jacket - river island
boots - topshop
necklace - primark
hair chalk - topshop

I don't know why I was so drawn to this tshirt because I like to think I'm not a hater at all (can you tell from these super smiley pictures?), but I pretty much ran to the till as soon as I seen it.. I will never have enough white tshirts! I also picked up this printed skirt which caught my eye because of all the pretty colours. The pictures don't show it too well but my jacket is actually fringed which makes me a tiny little bit excited - I've been after a fringed leather jacket since I went to London for my 18th. I can actually remember seeing a girl wearing one and ever since its been on my wishlist, so when I seen this in River Island for £35 it had to be mine. I've teamed it all with  my new topshop cut out boots that I got my hands on last week, better late than never!

ALSO, I have green hair. I found some hair chalks that I'd bought ages ago and decided to experiment by dip dying my ends green. I'm gutted that it's gonna be gone after one wash because I absolutely love it and I want it to last forever (or atleast a couple of weeks).

check it out

checked shirt - noisy may via asos
82 dress - missguided
boots - asos
necklace - matalan
watch - michael kors

hey hey! I hope everyone has had a good weekend. Mine was exceptionally boring, apart from getting to see my friends for a while last night all I've done is work - yucckkkk!

I intentionally bought this shirt dress to wear it as just that, a dress. It turns out its just another one to add to my collection of 'too short to wear alone' dresses, I love the colour of the checks and the fact that it is slightly longer at the back (not quite long enough, hmphhh!). Instead of sending it back though, I decided to layer it up over my missguided midi which seemed to work well, so it turned out to be a winner in the end.

Anyway, I'm off to eat a ridiculous amount of Indian food and watch back to back episodes of keeping up with the Kardashians until I fall asleep.. I love Sundays.

autumn prints

.

coat - h&m
tshirt - topshop
jeans - miss selfridge
boots - topshop
chain necklace - primark

This was the first time I've had to put on a coat in absolutely ageeees!. It was so cold and windy that good blog photos were out of the question.. I was too busy hiding my hands in my pockets and trying to keep my hair out my face.

I'm really not a fan of autumn winter, everything gets duller and darker, but I do like that it means I'll get to make good use of this H&M leopard print coat. I spotted this waaay back at the start of the year but never bothered buying it until it appeared in the sale for £15. I've secretly been wishing for a cold day just so I could take it off the hanger and out for a spin. I'm not sure how I'm feeling about the clashing leopard prints in this outfit but at the time it seemed like a good idea! What do you think?

red alert

printed trousers - asos
open back top - asos
sandals - primark
necklace - matalan
watch - michael kors
bangle - river island
sunglasses - rayban

I've been a litttttttle bit addicted to ASOS recently, with free delivery and all the offers they keep throwing at me I just can't help myself! Last week they were offering 50% off 50 items and I managed to bag these red trousers for just £15. I've also been ordering loads of basics tops from the sale and this backless number is just one of them, the open back makes it a little bit more exciting than just a plain black tank top and I've popped a bandeau on underneath to hide sneaky bra straps on show.

I've decided I'm on a spending ban until the end of the month because I have bought faaaaaaar too much lately and I need to do a big selling spree on ebay to get rid of my old stuff and make some wardrobe space. The ban is officially gonna start in 5 minutes after I make a teeny weeny topshop order....

floral print

floral trousers - boohoo
cami - topshop
boots - h&m
fedora - new look
necklace - matalan
watch - michael kors

hey hey! I've finally got some time off work which means time to actually get dressed in some proper clothes and even squeeze in a blog post or two. I wore this to a BBQ at my cousins house this Saturday, it was kinda cold so we ended up inside - typical scotland!

I bought these Boohoo trousers waaay back in April and then they got lost at the back of my wardrobe alongside a million other things. I was having a hard time deciding what to wear (as usual!), so when I came across these it made my day soo much easier - the bold and colourful print meant that a plain black top was enough to complete the outfit. I added my fedora hat to hide my roots because yet again they are horrendous! I also threw on my black and white platforms which I barely ever get the chance to out to play.

I'm spending today lazing around, watching movies and catching up on my favourite blogs. Tomorrow I'm gonna head to the shops so hopefully I can get some nice new bits and pieces to share on here :)

TIGER TIGER

cami - h&m
boyfriend jeans - asos
kimono - nasty gal
shoes - primark

hey hey! just a quick one tonight to show what I threw on to go out for dinner a few nights ago. I was hungover and sleepy so as you can tell I didn't even bother with makeup or jewellery, I'm so lazy. Anyway, I previously posted about the h&m tiger face dress which I absolutely love.. so when I spotted this cami with the same print I had to have it. I teamed it with my trusty boyfriends that I'd like to swiftly replace with 'mom jeans' when I can find myself the right pair! I've been buying new clothes almost every day recently so hopefully I'll get the chance to share some of them with you guys soon!

Tunisia OOTN #3

dress - asos
sandals - primark

Hey guuuuuys! Am I the only one who's in complete shock that we're in August now? WHERE has the time gone?! The weather up here in Aberdeen has been pretty crap the last few days so I hope that the summer isn't over for us Northerners!

Tonight is all about my third and final outfit post from my recent holiday to Tunisia. I bought this dress after seeing Mollie King rocking it on morning TV - it's safe to say she wore it better! (I'm slightly obsessed with the saturdays).. The bright colours drew me straight in, and it just so happens that bright pink and cobalt blue are my two favourites. As much as I love the colouring and pattern, I'm not actually much of a fan of the dress itself - it's a silly length and the side splits go a tiny bit too high. I'm 5ft 9 so it's not often I find myself complaining of a dress being too long.. I love t-shirt style dresses so it's a shame this is such a bad fit or I'm sure I'd have worn it loads more.
