dungaree days

dungarees - miss selfridge
shirt - miss selfridge
cardigan - river island
boots - topshop
necklace - new look

As far as I can remember, my whole childhood consisted of wearing dungarees, so when I found this black wax pair in the Miss Selfridge sale I couldn't resist buying them. Next I'll be digging in the garden and playing with polly pockets all over again.

I've found myself in a complete monochrome rut and can't seem to get dressed in the morning without pulling out every black and/or white piece of clothing I own.. So I threw this cobalt blue cardigan on to add some colour. It was also a sale bargain that I picked up in River Island for a sweet little £12!

rip it up

shirt - topshop
boyfriend jeans - miss selfridge
hat - new look
boots - topshop
necklace - matalan

Hey hey! Long time no blog! If there's one thing I've learnt this past couple of weeks its that work, blogging and a fourth year at uni really do not leave me with a lot of spare time. So I apologise once again for neglecting you guys. Whilst I'm on the topic of apologising, I am sorry for the TERRIBLE quality of these photos. I left my camera at a friends and had to make use of my not so trusty iPhone, which really doesn't agree with these dark nights. I caused a bit of a huge fuss because I haven't got any good photos, but I decided to work with what I got!

I got these ripped knee boyfriend jeans in the Miss Selfridge sale last week. They are a good alternative to my beloved mom jeans and I'm glad to finally have my hands on a pair of ripped up jeans. I got pretty lucky in all the mid season sales and I've warmed up my wardrobe with a bit too much new winter pieces. As I was making space for all my new purchases I came across this Topshop shirt which I've had hidden away for years. It's so easy to throw on so I'm glad I've kept it instead of throwing it away like I do with most of my clothes!

Like I said, things are pretty hectic at the moment but I'm hoping to make some time for the blog now that I'm into the proper swing of things!

get in lime

gilet - h&m
leather look leggings - h&m
lime shirt - forever 21
boots - glamorous
watch - michael kors
necklace - primark

I'm so excited to FINALLY be wearing a faux fur gilet - I feel like I've been on the hunt forever! Ideally, I was looking for a more soft fur effect, but when I found this shaggy fur look version from h&m for just £39.99 I couldn't really say no! Although its not exactly what I'm looking for I'm really happy with it now that I've taken it home and tried it on with some of my clothes, its such a perfect length and fit for me. I've teamed it here with this bargain shirt I got in forever 21 over the summer, and my new leather look leggings which I'll probably wear to death over the winter months!

I'm being a typical version of myself and having a full on wardrobe meltdown at the moment, I feel like everything I own is boring and I definitely don't own enough pieces that are suitable for A/W.. I think a serious shopping haul is well overdue!

red leopard

snood - river island
skirt - h&m
coat - ebay
boots - glamorous
tshirt - h&m
necklace - primark

I'm usually not the biggest fan of scarves or snoods, I like them and all that but I don't really wear them unless its to keep me warm (I know, I'm so practical). But as soon as my mum came home with this bright red leopard print snood I knew I'd be stealing it every now and again. I'm all in black today, purely because I was desperate to wear my new skirt and everything else just fell into place. I'd been hunting for a leather look skirt for a while, then I spotted this one in h&m for £14.99 so I bought it along with two other similar styles.. oooops! I also have to mention my new boots which came through the door today after waiting nearly three weeks. To be honest I'd kinda forgot I'd pre-ordered them but I'm so glad I did! They look quite similar to Topshop boots but these babies only cost me a fraction of the price at £26.

I've mentioned before that I was thinking about a new blog design, but since a few days ago I've decided it needs to happen sooner rather than later - I hate my current design! Please please please let me know of anyone who offers blog designs at a reasonable price and I'll love you forever!
