snake skin skirt - lavish alice (available here)
cami top - new look
sandals - new look
hat - depop

this skirt is actually about two sizes too big, but I bought it months ago and didn't actually try it on until today, my bad! its from Lavish Alice and I somehow managed to snap it up for FIVE POUNDS in the sale. it's still available on ASOS for £22 which I would say is still a lovelyyy little bargain. My hat collection is still growing daily, I picked this one up for £7 on Depop but I think it is originally an ASOS number... Shame it doesn't fit my massive head properly!

skirt - asos
belt - river island
top - asos
boots - lavish alice
bangles & watch - michael kors

apparently I only know how to wear black & white these days! this entire outfit cost me about £50 with most of it becoming mine via the ASOS sale. I wanted to get on board the midi skirt trend so this little black number had to be mine!

I've been crazy busy this week, after four long years at uni I finally graduated on Wednesday with a degree in fashion management, followed by my grad ball on Thursday.. It's been emosh! (my instagram - 'ailsastron' is loaded with photos), now it's time to get my A into G and find myself a job!

black and nude

blazer - river island
top - zara
jeans - asos
bag - dune
boots - asos
warch & bangle - michael kors

You know you haven't seen the sun for a while when your skin is the same colour as your pale nude top.. I haven't looked this ghostly in a long time!

I wore this get-up to uni yesterday then out for a meal with the girls. I had to run out the house with my mother hot on my heels because for some reason she thinks this blazer is hers... I can assure you Linda, it is not! Every single time I wear these jeans I'm met with a comment along the lines of 'did you fall over and rip your jeans' or 'I hope you didn't buy those like that'..

I thought blogging would be taking a back seat just now because of my endless list of uni work but I actually seem to be doing anything in my power to avoid it... so at least my blog isn't being neglected (again)! Heres hoping I can keep it up.

skirt - topshop
snake print top - topshop
jumper - h&m
bag - ebay
boots - river island

Here's a quick outfit that I managed to snap before heading off to uni today..excuse the dodgy fake tan! I got this skirt and top back in January for a trip to Dublin & today they both went live on the topshop sale. The skirt is now an absolute bargain at £7 and the top is now just £12. I'm a big fan of the colour of this skirt but the drape/twist thing doesn't sit very well, however if it cost me £7 I probably wouldn't really give a hoot! I've covered up with a slouchy h&m jumper that I like to throw on with anything and everything.

I spent this morning in the library finishing some bits and pieces of work so it only felt fair to spend the afternoon at the shops. I picked up some things in zara that I absolutely did not need but absolutely could not resist... is it just me or does zara get it bang on every single spring summer?! I've already picked out my next purchases...

fringed

top - topshop
mom jeans - topshop
shoes - asos
fringe bag - ebay
fringe biker jacket - river island

hey pretties! how cool is the print on this new topshop crop? I am obsessed with black and white and also developing an obsession with co-ords, which is fitting as this baby has matching shorts and I cannot wait to wear them together when I visit NYC in 11 weeks today!... I too am shocked at myself for being organised enough to know what I'm gonna wear this far in advance.

I got these yellow courts through the door last week, they are a lil' bit bright and super eye catching which is exactly what I was looking for to wear with an all white outfit for my birthday in a couple of weeks.

Speaking of birthdays.. I celebrated my 21st this weekend with a joint party with my friend Megan so I've shared a few photos below. I had the BEST night with the BEST people and cannot wait to actually turn 21 soon! I've shared some pics below of our night :)

Sorry for the super long post but I have just one final thing to say! I'm writing my dissertation on fashion blogs and online shopping so thought this would be the perfect place to advertise my questionnaire seeing as if your here, you obviously read 'em. Please please please help me out and fill out my survey which you can find rightttttt here.

borderline

dress - monki via asos
boots - river island
hat - miss selfridge
watch - michael kors
bangle - michael kors
necklace - topshop

I've finally gotten round to posting this outfit that I wore last week for dinner and cocktails for a friends 21st. It was sooo good to get a chance to wear something a little bit summery but I spent every minute that I was outdoors clutching my hat with one hand and holding my dress down with the other.. typical windy aberdeen!

I've been pretty unwell this week and otherwise loaded down with dissertation work, so I'm finding it so hard to fit in any time to post. I've spent my sunday making zara, river island and topshop orders so hopefully I'll have plenty new bits to share soon!

redlight

skirt - urban code via ASOS
top - h&m
gilet - h&m
boots - river island
belt - h&m

After pouring through pinterest a few weeks back I decided I had to get my hands on a red leather mini. I took to ASOS and ordered this little baby for just £27.50.It wasn't until it arrived that I realised it was real leather.. a real leather skirt for that price when it RRP's at £110 was a sweet little surprise! I've teamed it here with (unsurprisingly) black black and more black. I cannot wait til I can shove all my black stuff to the back of the wardrobe and run around in little pastel pink dresses and white short suits.. roll on summer.
